Gingersnap Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    brisket of beef
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    paprika
    2 pkg. dried onion soup mix
    2 c. water
    1/2 doz. gingersnaps
    chili sauce
    8 potatoes
    5 carrots
    3 onions, quartered
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic salt and of brisket.
    Empty onion soup mix on bottom of pan.
    Add water and brisket.
    Add the gingersnaps to the juice around brisket.
    Spread chili sauce on top of brisket.
    Add the potatoes, carrots and onions; bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0. Remove brisket and slice on a cutting board.
    Put the sliced brisket back in gravy until tender, about 1/2 to 1 hour.
