Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
3/4 c. diced celery
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 1/2 c. (No. 2 can) tomatoes
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
dash of cayenne
small piece bay leaf
1/4 c. minced parsley
Preparation

Heat oil in skillet; add onion, pepper, celery and garlic and cook about 10 minutes until soft, stirring frequently.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, seasonings and parsley; mix well.
Simmer over low heat, uncovered, for
one hour or until thickened; pour over cooked spaghetti.
