Kolbasi With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. kolbasi, sliced 1/4-inch pieces
    2 onions, sliced
    4 skinned and chopped tomatoes
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt or a minced garlic clove
Preparation
    Melt shortening in skillet.
    Brown kolbasi pieces; add green peppers and saute until soft.
    Add rest of the vegetables and seasonings and simmer for 3/4 of an hour.
    Add flour and cook slowly for 10 minutes, stir or it will scorch.
    Serve with potatoes.
    Makes 4 servings.
