Coconut Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut (1 1/3 c.)
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with vanilla and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff, but not dry.
    Fold in coconut.
    Drop rounded teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Immediately remove cookies to rack. Makes 18.
