Mile High Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, chilled
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar in a large bowl. Add boiling water and beat at once until very thick and fluffy. Add vanilla.
    Bake just until brown at 350\u00b0.
