Never Fail Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. cold water
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut the shortening into the flour until pea size.
    Add the cold water, egg and vinegar.
    Add more water, if necessary, for right consistency.
    Makes four 1 crust or 2 double crust pies. Will freeze or will keep in refrigerator 2 to 3 weeks. Also good for sausage rolls.
