Baked Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 prebaked baking potatoes
    16 oz. sour cream
    4 c. shredded American cheese
    real bacon pieces or bacon bits to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. After baked potatoes have cooled enough to remove from skins, peel and cut into 1-inch cubes. Spread half the potatoes into a 13 x 9 pan. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with bacon pieces. Spread half of sour cream over potatoes. Sprinkle half the cheese over the sour cream. Spread remaining potatoes over the first layer. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with bacon pieces. Spread remaining sour cream. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until heated throughout. Serve hot.
