Oatmeal Cookies(Irene) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream together the shortening, brown sugar and white sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Add together with oatmeal and nuts.
