Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1 head cauliflower, chopped or sliced
    1 red onion, sliced thin
    1 lb. bacon
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a large bowl, break lettuce; top with cauliflower and layer onion in thin slices with crisp bacon pieces.
    I also use chopped fresh broccoli and thawed frozen peas.
    Combine mayonnaise and sugar and spread over bacon; try to seal vegetables below.
    Do not stir.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Just before serving, add Parmesan cheese and toss.
    Serves 5 to 6 with the added vegetables.
