"Real" Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. flank steak, half ground and half cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 lb. pork chops, trimmed from bones and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. oil
4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
4 c. chopped tomatoes
4 cans (7 oz. each) chili salsa
2 large chopped garlic cloves
4 oz. canned green chilies
3 Tbsp. mild or hot red chili powder or to taste
Preparation

Put beef and pork in separate skillets and cook.
When they start to brown, cover and let cook for 45 minutes.
Add half the cumin and oregano to each skillet and stir.
Continue cooking for 30 more minutes.
