Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed and rinsed or 2 c. fresh peas that have been blanched and rinsed, drain well
    1/3 c. finely chopped mild onion (red)
    1 c. Velveeta cheese, cut in small cubes
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1 1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise (approximately) mixed with 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. tomatoes
    6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    You will need a dish 2 to 3 inches deep.
