Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together sugar, butter and nutmeg until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in bananas and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt; beat into creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
