Posse Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies (undrained)
    1 can corn, drained
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch (optional)
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (15 oz.) can chili beans (undrained)
    1 can hominy, drained
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. water (optional)
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain.
    Stir in tomatoes, beans, chilies, hominy and corn.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    For a thicker stew, combine cornstarch and water, then stir into stew.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
