Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. flour, seasoned
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 can onion soup
1/2 c. ketchup
1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
Preparation

Pound flour into meat.
Brown meat in shortening.
Pour off fat.
Add soup and ketchup.
Cover and simmer one hour.
Stir and add green pepper.
Cook 20 minutes longer or until peppers are tender.
I also add 1 cup of instant rice when I add pepper.
