Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    1 regular size bag Kraft caramels
    1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 large bag semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1 small can evaporated milk (not condensed)
Preparation
    Mix cake according to package directions.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture on greased (Pam) 10 x 14-inch cake pan.
    Bake 1/2 mixture at package heat for 10 minutes.
