Pull Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/4 stick butter
1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation

Boil slowly until 256\u00b0; do not stir at all when it starts to boil.
Let boil slowly until it reaches 256\u00b0.
Pour on well buttered slab of marble (cool).
Let mixture cool until you can handle.
Butter hands and pull until it loses its gloss.
Pull into strips and cut into pieces.
Store in airtight container.
I use a heavy 8-quart pan.
