Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black beans
    6 c. water
    4 c. chicken stock
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    4 Tbsp. garlic, minced
Preparation
    Cook beans in water. Cover and simmer (add salt) until most of the water is soaked up. Add stock and continue to cook 1 to 1 1/2 hours more.
