Grandma'S Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook 5 minutes, stirring while cooking over medium heat. While mixture is cooking, add nuts.
    Remove from heat.
    Pour in Rice Krispies and stir.
    Let cool somewhat.
    Form into balls. Roll in Angel Flake coconut.
    Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
