Cottage Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix together sugar, milk, shortening, egg and vanilla.
    Then add flour mixture. Blend well. Pour batter into 8-inch round cake pan, greased. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
