Rosy Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
6 c. rhubarb
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
6 Tbsp. butter (soft)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Cut the first 5 ingredients together like pie crust.
Add the egg and milk; mix together.
Spread in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Top with the rhubarb.
Sprinkle with the jello.
Mix the soft butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/2 cup flour.
Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
