White Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly sugar, Crisco and egg.
    Stir in milk.
    Add flour and blend well.
    Fold in nuts.
    Pour in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes until wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
