Almond Topped Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. carrots, julienned
2 c. water
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
6 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
dash of pepper
Preparation

In a saucepan, bring carrots and water to a boil; reduce heat.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until crisp but tender. Drain and add the raisins, butter, honey, lemon juice, ginger and pepper.
Place in greased 2-quart baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
Sprinkle with almonds before serving.
Serves about 12.
