Les' Harvest Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, melted
    2 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. sliced celery
    1 c. diced onion
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. poultry season
    1 loaf white bread
    2 loaves light wheat bread
    4 c. baking apples, chopped
    1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 to 2 c. instant herb stuffing mix
    1/2 c. apple juice
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Saute first six ingredients in butter.
    In bowl combine apples, nuts, raisins and herb stuffing mix.
    Stir in sauteed vegies and butter until coated.
    Mix in 3 loaves bread, which have been dried and cubed, until coated.
    Combine juice and broth, then sparingly pour over stuffing until all is damp.
    Stuffs 20 pound turkey and more!
