Fresh Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten
    4 c. milk, divided
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. sugar
    6 c. mashed fresh peaches or frozen
Preparation
    Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar, flour and salt.
    Add eggs and blend well.
    Add 2 cups milk and cook slowly over low heat until slightly thickened.
    Cool.
    Add whipping cream, remaining 2 cups milk, vanilla and peaches, which have been sweetened with 1 cup sugar. Pour into a 4-quart container of electric or hand-turned freezer and freeze according to directions.
    Yield:
    1 gallon.
