Never Fail Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    3 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil sugar, Karo and water until thread spins (250\u00b0 temperature).
    Add peanuts and stir constantly until temperature reaches 280\u00b0.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, salt and soda.
    Pour onto buttered board to cool.
