Beef Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef, diced
    1/4 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    salt and freshly ground black pepper
    3 c. celery, cut in 1-inch pieces
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 Tbsp. molasses or dark corn syrup (Karo)
    2 c. beef bouillon
    2 c. canned bean sprouts
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    6 c. hot, boiled rice
Preparation
    Fry beef in oil over high heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Stir in soy sauce, salt and pepper.
    Remove meat and keep hot.
    To oil remaining in saucepan, add celery, onions, molasses (or dark corn syrup) and bouillon.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Add bean sprouts.
    Cook for 3 minutes.
    Replace beef.
