Excellent French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    12 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. maple syrup
Preparation
    Cube bread and cream cheese.
    In a glass 9 x 13-inch pan, place 1/2 of the bread, all the cream cheese, then the rest of the bread.
    Beat eggs.
    Add milk and syrup; blend well.
    Pour over bread and cream cheese layers.
    Cover; refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Turn off oven; allow to sit in oven an additional 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Cut into squares and serve.
