Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small jar Bac*Os artificial bacon bits
    1 c. diced yellow onion
    2/3 c. flour
    6 c. hot chicken stock
    4 c. baked potatoes
    2 c. evaporated skim milk
    1/4 c. parsley
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic
    1 1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 ??? red pepper sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper
    1 c. grated \"Healthy Choice\" Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. diced green onion
    1 Tbsp. canola oil
Preparation
    In large skillet, saute onion in canola oil.
    Gradually add flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps; cook until golden brown.
    Add chicken stock; stir with a whisk.
    Turn heat to low; add potatoes, bacon bits, skim milk and spices.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add cheese and onion, stirring constantly until cheese melts.
    Add hot sauce to taste.
