Mexican Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Shape dough into small balls using approximately 1 teaspoon dough for each cookie.
    Roll balls in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Flatten slightly.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Remove from cookie sheet and cool on rack. Makes 4 dozen.
