Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
2 c. onion, finely chopped
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients with onion, milk added to beaten eggs (must form soft ball).
Drop from teaspoon into deep hot fat.
Will float when done.
Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
