Seafoam Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can pear halves
    1 c. pear syrup
    6 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
    3 oz. box lime jello
    2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Drain pears, reserving 1 cup of the syrup.
    Mash pears with fork or potato masher.
    Heat syrup.
    Pour over jello and stir until jello is dissolved.
    Beat cheese with milk until smooth and blended.
    Gradually beat in hot jello.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Fold in pears and cream.
    Chill until set.
