Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/4 lb. chopped onions
    1/2 lb. chopped mushrooms
    3/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 qt. chicken stock (hot)
    1 pt. milk (hot)
    1/2 pt. cream
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until soft.
    Do not brown.
    Add flour and stir until smooth.
    Cook for 5 minutes. Gradually add the hot chicken stock, stirring until smooth. Simmer for 7 to 8 minutes until thick and smooth.
    Add hot milk and cream.
    Season to taste.
