Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. Ranch salad dressing
    1 (14 oz.) can hominy (undrained)
    3 (14 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion and green chilies in large Dutch oven (large pot).
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Serves 10.
    Freezes well.
