Cherry Dream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 tub Cool Whip
Preparation
    Slice angel food cake evenly in two, having top and lower section.
    Spread pie filling onto bottom layer, on top only. Place the top section back over this.
    Save a little of the pie filling.
    Then, after the cake is restacked, cover it with Cool Whip like icing a cake.
    Put remaining pie filling on top of the Cool Whip (on top of cake).
    Keep in refrigerator.
    Very good and keeps well.
    Keep cake covered.
