Molasses Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs, molasses and mix well.
Add dry ingredients to cream mixture and blend.
Stir in 1 cup boiling water.
Pour into greased pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until done.
