Never Fail Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. shortening
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly; roll to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut and fry in deep fat at 375\u00b0.
