Doris' Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box strawberry jello
    1 pint frozen strawberries
    15 oz. can crushed pineapple
    3 mashed bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
    8 oz. carton sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water.
    Add frozen strawberries, crushed pineapple, bananas and pecans.
    Pour one half the mixture in a dish and let congeal.
    Add sour cream to the other half of mixture; pour this over the first congealed layer.
