Old Fashioned Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. (plus a little more) flour or 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Microwave first 4 ingredients 4 minutes, stir and microwave 2 more minutes.
    Add egg yolks and microwave 2 minutes.
    (It should be thick at this point, but if not, cook a couple more minutes.) When thick, add vanilla and butter.
    Let cool and pour into cooled pie shell.
