Italian Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 large head cabbage, shredded (don't grate)
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix onions with sugar and set aside.
    Shred (don't grate) cabbage.
    Mix in small saucepan the remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boiling point.
    Toss the onion mixture with the cabbage.
    Pour the dressing over it while it is hot.
    Toss and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    Better made the day before. Keeps well.
