Ingredients

2 1/4 lb. pork spareribs
1 c. dry Rose wine (generous c.)
1/3 c. apricot jam
1/2 c. meat stock (generous c.)
1/3 c. half and half
vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
4 canned pear halves, drained
3 Tbsp. toasted, slivered almonds
3 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
4 canned peach halves, drained
Preparation

Trim ribs; cut into 4 to 8 sections.
Arrange ribs in a shallow dish.
In a small bowl, combine wine, jam, salt and pepper.
Pour wine mix over ribs.
Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally, and spooning marinade over ribs. Remove ribs from marinade and drain well, reserving marinade.
