Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. plain flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add eggs and milk.
    Beat until smooth.
    Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet.
    Use a funnel; cover bottom of funnel with finger.
    Fill with batter; release batter in circular motion.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Can be served with syrup.
