Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. minced bell pepper
    1 c. cream-style corn
    2/3 c. salad oil
    2 eggs
    2 jalapeno peppers, minced
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix in order listed but not cheese.
    Pour half of mixture into a hot greased pan (iron skillet).
    Sprinkle half of cheese on this; add remaining mixture.
    Cover with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    This will make a 10 1/2-inch round skillet; don't make too thick.
