Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium squash, cooked and well drained
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3/4 c. self-rising corn meal
    1/4 c. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    If too juicy, add more meal.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Drop by tablespoon into deep hot grease.
