Teriyaki Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. top sirloin steaks, sliced thin
    2 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
    1 clove garlic, grated or chopped fine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. m.s.g. (optional)
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sake or white wine
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except meat.
    Stir and cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
    Cool.
    Pour teriyaki sauce over meat and marinate for 1 hour.
    Drain.
    Broil 3 to 5 minutes on each side, preferably over charcoal.
