Mexican Cornbread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 can cream-style corn
    2 jalapeno peppers
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 c. grated American cheese
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and soda.
    Stir in cornmeal.
    Add eggs, onion, peppers, corn and buttermilk.
    Brown meat; drain. Add taco seasoning and a little water.
    Cook until almost dry.
