Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked pumpkin
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    5 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. dates, chopped
Preparation
    Combine mashed pumpkin, sugar, oil and vanilla.
    Add flour, salt, soda, allspice, cinnamon, ginger, nuts and dates; mix well. Grease and flour 4 (1 pound) coffee cans.
    Fill each half full of mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Allow to cool. Cover can with plastic lid.
    Let mellow 24 hours.
    Can be frozen in cans.
    Makes 4 loaves.
