Sweet And Sour Pineapple - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 cinnamon sticks
sour cream
Preparation

Drain juice from pineapple into saucepan.
Put pineapple in large jar with cover.
Add sugar, vinegar, cloves, allspice and cinnamon sticks to juice and cook until mixture comes to full boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour over pineapple in jar, cover and cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate.
Serve with sour cream for dipping.
(Must be made at least 24 hours ahead.)
