Plain Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 6 lb.) roast
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    salt and pepper to taste
    Pam no stick cooking spray or 1/4 to 1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Coat entire surface of meat in oil and brown.
    Roast in 300\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes per pound.
    Salt near end of cooking time.
    When done, remove from pan.
