Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 1 crust pie
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. cooked sweet potatoes
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Prepare pastry.
    Cook sweet potatoes (heat salted water to cover potatoes until boiling).
    Add potatoes, cover and heat to boiling.
    Cook 30 to 35 minutes; drain and slip off skins.
    Mash potatoes.
