Tasty Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium size cabbage, shredded
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
1 1/4 c. sugar (or to suit)
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Place first four ingredients in kettle. Cover with boiling water.
Cover kettle and let stand 1 hour.
Drain well.
Return to kettle.
Add vinegar, sugar, celery and mustard seed.
Mix.
Store in refrigerator.
Keeps long time in tightly closed fruit jars.
